Fuck This Let’s Go

Hello fellow runners and friends,

I’m excited to share the story behind my new running sock company, "Fuck This Let's Go." If you're like me, finding the perfect pair of running socks has been a frustrating journey. Many pairs out there are just boring or don’t meet the quality standards I believe we deserve. Either they’re too thin, too thick, or simply not made with ethical labor practices. I’ve had enough of subpar socks and don’t want to support sweatshops, so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

The Birth of "Fuck This Let's Go"

The idea for "Fuck This Let's Go" came from my relentless desire to do 2 things:

  1. Accomplish cool shit

  2. Wear cute, comfy socks (especially while running) while accomplishing the cool shit

So, I started using the mantra in all things self-exploration (and sock-searching). I wanted something that wasn’t just functional but also fun and ethically made right here in the USA. I was tired of settling for socks that didn’t fit my needs or values. So, I decided to create my own line of running socks that are not only high-quality but also vibrant and ethically produced.

The Wild Ride of Our First Trial Run

Our first trial run with the manufacturer has been quite an adventure. I ordered 100 pairs and spent countless hours going back and forth on the design. I learned a lot during this process about what goes into making a great pair of socks. Ultimately, I decided on "Pride Pace" socks, featuring the iconic Venice Lifeguard station, in celebration of Pride Month.

Get Your Pair and Support a Great Cause

In honor of Pride Month, I’m offering these limited-edition "Pride Pace" socks to support The Trevor Project, an incredible organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ youth. If you’d like a pair of these (free) unique socks, please consider making a donation to The Trevor Project using my link:

The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people, providing support 24/7 through a range of services, including TrevorLifeline, TrevorText, and TrevorChat. This organization plays a crucial role in supporting LGBTQ+ youth, and it holds a special place in my heart.

While I don’t often discuss my own sexuality, I understand the importance of having support and resources available for those in the LGBTQ+ community who might be struggling. The Trevor Project is a beacon of hope for many, offering a safe space for young people to seek help without fear of judgment.

For those of you who are not local, don’t worry! I’ll be setting up a form for you to sign up and receive your socks via shipping. Remember, there are only 100 pairs available, so be sure to act fast once the form is posted (subscribe for updates on the home page here)!

Thank you for supporting this journey. I can't wait to hear your feedback on the "Pride Pace" socks and to continue creating products that make a difference.

Run proud, run strong! Fuck this, let’s gooooooo!

ps - 6/2/24 sad to update these aren’t the socks for a long run, IMO. They’re great for a quick 5K but anything more than a few miles: need a thicker sock for my piggies. Manufacturing trials: sometimes you learn. Onward!
